In modern econometrics the conventional asymptotic methods are insufficient to handle all econometric phenomena. In his presentation Stanislav Anatolyev showed and discussed some simple tools of higher order and alternative asymptotic theories. The methods were illustrated with examples showing how usual conclusions could be altered.
